Made for - Brackey's Game Jam 2020.2
Version 1.1 has Arrived, see the DevLog for a short list of fixes and features as well as the short term road map! This is the first post-Jam release, expect more content soon :)
Finish the area, score points, and beat your high score!
Left and Right (A/D or Controller) to move the ball left or right (applying force)
S or back apply braking force (note that if you are going quite fast you might not really feel the brakes...).
Hold Jump (Space on the keyboard) to use the rewind mechanic.
You have a limited rewind energy that regenerates over time
You score points and increase your multiplier by passing through rings and finishing fast
Rewind can no longer be used to auto-brake as it now preserves Velocity (this is more fun in my opinion... And faster and harder!).
You SHOULD rewind to:
- Save your skin (falling off the track will result in a Game Over)
- Get more points (Think adding multipliers from multiple "tracks")
Large Rings: 50 points
Small Rings: 100 points
Medium Rings (they are a slightly different color too!): 3x multiplier bonus.
The multiplier effects the points as you pick them up so earlier multipliers help a lot later. It also impacts the time bonus :)
Have fun and please leave some feedback! :)
